Study Hall
The Study Hall is a place for students to study quietly. It exists for the convenience of parents or guardians whose students have a free period between tutorials. All students who are at Cornerstone must either be in a class or in the Study Hall.
An adult will monitor the Study Hall at all times, and is responsible for maintaining good order and discipline. Students are expected to respectfully honor the Study Hall monitor’s instructions.
The Study Hall monitor may occasionally permit quiet talking and student interaction. This is a privilege. However, the Study Hall monitor is the final arbiter regarding the maintenance of good order and discipline, and may restrict talking and student activity as needed to control distractions that interfere with other students’ quiet study.
Parents are responsible for ensuring that their students have a study plan for effectively using their Study Hall time.
Parents or guardians must notify the Study Hall monitor in writing of any changes to their students’ Study Hall participation.
