Orientation and Interview Process

Orientation and Interview Night is mandatory for all new Cornerstone families as well as new students of returning families. After a short talk explaining the mechanics of Cornerstone, each new student and his family will be interviewed by two or three board members. The datesfor Orientation and Interview Nights are usually set in January. You may get the dates from the website calendar. To schedule an interview, please contact the registrar.

At the interview we will talk to the prospective students to ensure they possess the maturity and skills required to succeed in a classroom setting. We will also talk to the parents to verify that you meet the eligibility requirements. You will be required to present a letter from your pastor verifying that you are participating in a local church.

To help our planning, we will ask in which classes you are interested. Since returning families will have already registered, we will be able to tell you how many slots are available in each class.

You will be notified by mail of whether or not your student has been accepted.
