Orientation and Interview Night

Orientation and Interview Night is mandatory for all new Cornerstone families as well as new students of returning families. After a short talk explaining the mechanics of Cornerstone, each new student and his family will be interviewed by two board members. The date for Orientation and Interview Night is usually set in January. You may get the date from the web site calendar, or if you subscribe to the Announcement Mail List, you will be notified by email. In 2007, the Board has scheduled two Orientation and Interview nights. New families will be asked to choose which one they will be attending. To schedule an interview, please contact the registrar.

At the interview we will talk to the prospective students to ensure they possess the maturity and skills required to succeed in a class room setting. We will also talk to the parents to verify that you meet the eligibility requirements. You will be required to present a letter from your pastor verifying that you are participating in a local church.

To help our planning, we will ask what classes you are interested in. Since returning families will have already registered, we will be able to tell you how many slots are available in each class.

You will be notified by mail of whether or not your student has been accepted.
