Cornerstone requires everyone’s cooperation to function. Parents and their students participate on a rotating basis in the daily setup, lunch monitoring, and daily takedown tasks. The Board will assign one parent (and their students) to the various duties at the beginning of the year; it is the parent’s responsibility to find a substitute if he or she cannot perform the assigned duty for any reason. An adult, in addition to the student, must be in attendance for the duty function to be fulfilled.
As additional duties arise, the Board will ask each family for support. In keeping with our mission statement, we hope that every Cornerstone family will have a servant’s heart in these matters and will actively seek opportunities to volunteer.
