Speech
(Offered in Spring)

Communication is a vital skill, needed not only for college interviews and the work world, but also for meaningful relationships in life. Students in speech will learn communication basics, the physiology of speech, and the skill of writing and using speech outlines.  For practice in applying what they learn, students will deliver seven speeches: autobiographical, informative, demonstration, inspirational, persuasive, impromptu, and oral interpretation.
