Algebra II
We will be learning Algebra 2 concepts under the adept tutelage of John Saxon. His incremental learning and constant review are effective in the learning of mathematical concepts. Students should have successfully completed Algebra 1 before coming into this class. If they have also had Geometry, that is good; but not necessary. They will be asked to review/do Lessons A & B at the front of the book before coming to the first class. It is assumed they will know this material. We will use the Saxon Algebra 2,second edition (ISBN 0-939798-62-X). There should still be plenty of them out there.
Students will need a calculator that can find sin, cos, and tan.
